Their engagement session took place as a city tour of Santa Barbara, what a great way to get to know and see the city and get great images. Their story here stared out at the old and historic Mission of Santa Barbara; here the columns and plaster walls with subtle warm color provided the background for their interaction and provided depth and meaning to the images. From there, it was off to the courthouse, where we had fun photographing in and out of the Spanish style building. From the outside, the building has great grounds with luscious greenery. From the interior at the rotunda stairway to the balcony hall way with amazing light and the arches hall on the first floor with amazing window light, their story was fulfilled in these settings. A few more shots were taken around the downtown area and then it was off to the bluffs and the beach for this lovely couple. To wrap up the day, their story finished with a kissing shot on the beach as the sunset behind them. Romance, fun, warmth, and images filled with great energy and spark, these images are the prelude to a great wedding and their life together.
